Stepdads

When you lose you got to blame it on something right?  There maybe a 60% chance of rain, but there is a 100% chance that the Stepdads will drink and beat the Pink Tacos!

The Stepdads are a franchise with a lot of a pride.  We won the championship of  Capital League last Summer. Although our team has had some talent lost through the free agency market, our nucleus is gritty team of winners.   We have added some new talent with athleticism that is unmatched.

We are playing not only to win the Thunder Conference, but to go on to Vegas to represent our great league.   We know we are in a tough conference, but we are confident in our talent.

This week the Pink Tacos stand in our way of that goal.  Probably the greatest rivalry in all of kickball is the Pink Tacos led by that crazy Apache Master and his "Drunken Monkey" style of pitching versus the great offense of the Stepdads.   We have watched the tape and we have learned something very important... I will tell you, but after the game.  Be sure to show up early and have a few drinks with the Tacos from their mini-bar.

Highlight player of the week

Blake Bullard-  Blake is a Co-Captain and has been playing kickball with WAKA since 2011.  A great competitor and very knowledgeable of the game.  His pitching is solid and he can paint the edges and cause you to strike out looking.
