Last week we played It Burns When I Kick...and lost. For all of us, this was our first WAKA game ever, and for 98% of us, this was our first league kickball game ever, so I think we did pretty well! We scored one run, made by Jeremy, one of our fastest runners. This was the highlight of our game and you would know it by the screams, cheers and dance moves made by the rest of the team as he slid into home. After that it all went downhill after a guy from the other team kicked a line drive down the third baseline. The score was 5-1 and we had only a couple of innings left in the game, so we hauled ass and tried our best but ended up going down in a blaze of glory. As for next week, we now have a better feel for what the games will be like. Angry Unicorns, prepare to be pitch slapped.
