Casual Encounters

I want to start by saying how excited  I am to be joining the kickball family this season. Not only is this my first season to play, but I get to play on a great new team - The Casual Encounters. Our team is comprised of several newbies as well as a few seasoned veterans. I have to say -what we may lack in experience we more than make up for in enthusiasm. 

Our first game was against a tough team. Wonderkick Amazeballs played a great game. We lost, but with heads held high. Considering most of us met for the first time Tuesday, we gelled quickly and held our own on the field. I honestly believe that as our team settles in and we learn more about our strengths and weaknesses, we may very well become a force to be reckoned with. 

I have already made some great new friends, and I am looking forward to meeting more of you on and off the field. This should be a great season!
